Seamlessly switch from your cell phone to your tunes while riding the steeps with the Giro Omen Wireless Audio Series Helmet. This brain bucket has an integrated Motorola wireless system that works with any Bluetooth-enabled phone or MP3 player. The DJ-quality headset has controls for volume, track select, play/pause, and call connect, and can be removed so you can rock out everywhere. Giro not only gave this helmet killer audio, but also premium protection. The Omen's ABS shell provides multi-season durability, its dual thermostat control optimizes ventilation, and the In Form fit system lets you dial in your comfort. Since it's inspired by big-mountain riders like Jeremy Jones and Chris Davenport, you know this Giro helmet won't make you look like a gaper.

Bottom Line: Shred the biggest lines with your tunes blaring in the Giro Omen Wireless Audio Helmet.

Good product

The helmet itself is not too heavy, even with the headphones, and the vents are really handy and easy to use. It's comfy as well.
The wireless tuneups are just wicked, allows to control all the music without taking anything off the pockets, and taking calls without having to do anything.
They can come off the helmet and go on a DJ headset, which allows using them all year long...
A must have !

Awesome first helmet

The Omen is my first ski helmet so I don't have anything to compare it to other then my motorcycle helmet. I've been told the omen is Giro's heaviest helmet, but I don't notice it when I'm skiing. The vents can be opened half way or all the way and the size can be adjusted from the rear of the helmet. I love the wireless headphones. It's so cool to be able to pause/play, adjust volume, skip songs, and make phone calls all right from the controls attached to the outside of the headphones.

I bought a wireless adaptor (made by Jabra) for my IPod Nano and use a rubber band for extra support to keep the adaptor from disconnecting from my Nano.

DogFunk.com had the helmet hookup before any store in Aspen.

Thanks, AJB

Could Be Better

By:

I recently purchased this helmet and then returned it. Biggest problem is the goggle notch in the back. It does not snap shut like other Giro helmets to prevent goggles from slipping off. Defintely something Giro has to fix, especially at this price tag. I have the Smith Prodigy goggle and the plastic buckle would never stay behind the clasp. Dont need a $100 pair of goggle snapping off my head as I am doing mach 10.
