    More than your standard T-Shirt.

Made to be a versatile T-Shirt-inspired riding layer, Giro's Ride Crew Short-Sleeve Jersey was designed and sewn in California, and it was given sharp details that combine the best of jersey and T-Shirt designs into one.

To start, Giro used its Nycore merino blend, which adds the durability of nylon into the wool equation. This fabric blend provides the ideal combination of soft comfort against the skin and moisture wicking capabilities. Wool is known for its soft hand and versatility, and by pairing it with technical synthetic fibers, the makeup checks all the right boxes for the perfect riding jersey.

Similar to the rest of Giro's top layers, the Pockets features a relatively slim fit, but was cut with the cycling position in mind. By using a polyester and wool blend, the shirt moves with you as you ride, which eliminates any pinching and bunching. Giro finished off this shirt with three rear pockets, cross-stitching at the neck, and a standard chest pocket.

The Giro New Road CA Ride Crew Pockets Jersey - Short Sleeve - Men's is available in sizes Small to XX-Large and in the colors China Blue Heather/griffin heather, Dress Blue Heather/monterey heather, Grey Heather/black heather, Griffin Heather/china blue heather, and Jet Black/dark shadow heather.

    Okay but a little itchy

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Jersey is decent but I have 2 main complaints - it's a little itchy (yes, it is wool but I've had other Giro wool jerseys that are less itchy) and the stitching along the stripe on the chest and back is a little annoying / too high profile. An okay jersey if the price is right.

    Lightweight and comfortable.

    • Size Bought: small

I bought this as a gift for my husband. It's a sharp casual jersey - he's worn it pedaling to work (which is a 17-mile ride) and the merino blend fabric is awesome! Wicks away moisture, dries quickly and features an anti-odor constitution. The back pockets are generous and he fines the fit to be true to size. He typically wears a small or medium in Patagonia items (IMHO the small size looks better on him than the medium), and the small fit great on him in the jersey.

    Awesome Casual Jersey

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

I originally purchased this jersey for winter use as a base layer under a jacket, however I much prefer it in the spring/fall on its own. I love jerseys with pockets for holding my tools, phone and a snack, but hate the "teched-out" look. The use of wool lets me wear it a few times before showing it in the wash.

The lack of a zipper and electric hem limits the use of a water bottle in a pocket - it will choke you.

    Average/slim fit.

    Good Quality, Casual Ride Look.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

Solid quality like most everything form Giro. Love the casual look combined with the functionality of 3 back pockets, for your casual rider, commuter or moutain biker. Medium was a great fit at 5'10'' 165 lbs.

    Worth the discount price

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

while i agree with throwaway about the seam across the chest, i found the shirt really nice. its combined merino and cotton so it gives a great feel.

i never think i worth $120, but i got it with a lot lower price...
