Mine pair has been fatastic

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have had a pair for almost a year - moderate use - which have held up extremely well, fit well, feel superb, no sign of wear whatsoever. I see the other reviews and wonder if we are reviewing the same product or perhaps I just got lucky with a well-made pair. Yes, all leather gloves are a bit hard to get off. I truly love these gloves

Not recommended

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used this item for more than a year. Every part of the glove seemed to have stretched a bit and fit nicely except for the pinky. I've never had this problem with other brands (specialized, castelli, rapha).
Also very difficult to remove after long sweaty rides.

Thumb web stitch quite bulky

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm a lady that loves the look of these gloves. Currently own small, but they have stretched a bit.

Also, the point where all the fabric meets on the inside of thumb is quite bulky. It needs to be a flatter stitch. After a long ride when the gloves come off, thumb web generally hurts.

POOR STITCHING QUALITY.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These gloves feel great when you put them on. Nice soft padded leather palms and they look fantastic in a classic way. They do take a bit longer than most gloves to get off after a ride.
HOWEVER-after only about 100 miles the stitching on the outside of the left glove has come undone where the fingers end/palm begins. Seems like a poorly designed joint.
Overall these could have been the perfect glove but the stitching quality ruins them.

Ok

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Biggest problem no finger pulls for getting them off other than that the gel pads are nice. Fit is ok but seem like they wont last super long.

the stitching doesn't hold up....

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

....to the cost of these.

The fingers are coming undone, making way for the mesh in between the fingers to tear.

Yes i take the gloves off by reversing them, and not pulling on the finger outlets.

Other than that. I dig'em.
Worth $30.00
Especially since their made in '67 Saigon !!!

Great look, so-so fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Other's may disagree with me but I don't love these gloves. And I really wanted to. I use Giro's Monaco glove all the time so I thought the LX would be a nice and classy upgrade. While they are similar, I think they fall a bit short in the fit department. While initially they conformed to my hands I feel they have loosened up too much. My other problem with the glove is that it is difficult to get off my hand after a long and sweaty ride.

How do I size these correctly

Hey Jack,

Check out the Sizing Chart underneath the size selector. In order to size them appropriately you need to "measure around your hand at the widest point excluding the thumb." Hope this helps.
