Clear, quality stereo speakers in the Giro G9 Audio Series Helmet’s ear pads set the soundtrack for your day of riding, and no one else will know that “Forever in Blue Jeans” is what really gets you pumped for a fast-and-dirty tree run. And to save your skull from an unfortunate arboreal encounter, the G9 Helmet’s outer hard shell and fused EPS liner work together to deflect and absorb impact. The helmet’s venting system draws cool air into the front and lets warm air escape out the back, so you’ll stay comfortable from ridgeline to lift line. A helmet’s function is only as good as its fit, so use the built-in In-Form Fit System dial to customize.

Ive been using this helmet since this past October when the ski season started here in CO. It is comfortable, light-weight and durable. The helmet seems to work well with all the goggles I've tried on it so far. I have been using the Skull Candy Tuneups with this helmet and have no complaints about the set up so far. This is probably a given, but I don't recommend using your iPod/MP3 player in back country conditions!!!

I haven't tried on a lot of helmets, but the audio is a must. I can't ski well without tunes. Backcountry, I leave the iPod off, but when I'm at the resort and sidecountry, I have to have music cranking. I have to have music to ski, so if you're like me, go ahead and this up. I thought it was pretty comfy.
