Snowboard super pros Tommy Czeschin or Antti Autti gave the Giro Encore 2 Signature Series Helmet an advanced, durable construction, because eating it from 15 feet above the lip requires serious head protection. The Encore 2's low-profile, skate style looks good without going overboard. 13 mesh covered vents provide ventilation, without letting snow in if you crash. Giro covered an impact absorbing EPS liner with a plastic shell for durability, so the Encore 2 will last through many seasons of riding. Tommy and Antti gave the Encore 2 a custom graphic so you'll stand out in the park.
Bottom Line: If want to progress to Tommy and Antti's level, you're going to fall a lot. Protect your head in the Encore 2 Signature Series Helmet.

Very functional, but fits a little small. My last helmet was a 60 and huge on me- so I thought the 55.5-59 (Medium) would be perfect. It fits, but barely. Great design and function and I have no issues of over-heating (as with other helmets I've owned) yet never get cold. Also a small complain: the chin guard (chin-warmer) should not be sown into the chin strap but allowed to sit centered on the strap.

Most helmets fit goggles when it comes to snowboarding... am I safe to assume it will fit Smith goggles? Or most others for that matter?

I'd say that's a safe assumption, I have Smith goggles and a Giro helmet and they fit fine.

My EG1's fit this helmet great, almost no gap whatsoever. I can only assume the EG2's would be about the same.
