After more than a decade of innovation and proven protection, the Giro Women’s Ember Helmet proves that performance doesn’t have to be synonymous with a techy look. The in-mold construction provides the durability you need and excellent ventilation while reducing overall weight. When the temps rise, remove the vent plugs, and stash them in your pocket for future powder and bulletproof days.

  • In Form adjustment system allows you to get the ideal fit with the turn of a dial
  • Vertical adjustment in the back and goggle strap channel mean seamless integration and lower bulk
  • Super Cool vents pull fresh air in and push heat out for better temperature regulation
  • Removable ear pads
  • Compatible with TuneUps systems

Bottom Line: Stop using the excuse that all helmets look goofy, and ski with confidence.

good for the price

The helmet looks good. I bought it for my daughter who wanted a helmet that looked like a girl's helmet.

The exterior of the helmet sure does that and she likes the comfort and fit.

The issue is that the helmet really doesn't have the finish at the front as the other 3 Giro helmets we have do. There is exposed Styrofoam. It wont take away from how the helmet function but it just doesn't look quite right. Also you have to take out the pugs to ventilate the helmet on a warmer day. Nothing huge just not as nice as other Giros we have owned.

I bought the Giro Ember Helmet for my daughter (It was on her Christmas List) and its great. I'm happy her head is protected, she thinks it looks great. The embroidery matches her jacket perfectly. Nicely made, a very good value and quickly received after ordering. Thanks Giro and Backcountry! B.G.

Does Giro really not make women's helmet in a large?? I have

Does Giro really not make women's helmet in a large?? I have this helmet from a few years ago in a W-L, and the fit is perfect... but now only see S and M in this... am I missing something? Do I have to get a boring black guy's helmet??

The medium goes to 59 cm, it's not impossible you need a large but very unlikely. Does your old helmet have the inform fit system? This allows you to adjust the size of the helmet with a dial in the back. See video link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urf14AByTEs

Great helmet at a great price

By:

I've used this helmet several times already since I initially purchased it. I LOVE it! I was hesitant about getting a helmet because it seemed a little overkill for me, since I'm not the most adventurous or fast rider. I love this helmet. It has great breathability when necessary and is super warm in extreme conditions. The value for the price is unbeatable and it even looks cute!

Great Buy

This is my first helmet and I love it. I really wanted a helmet that didn't look like a boy helmet and at the same time didn't look like a little girls helmet. This helmet fit the bill. I also love the plush lining. It is soft against your skin and helps keep your head warm. With all the vents closed I did get warm skinning up the hill and it was very easy to remove some of the vent covers before continuing onward. I would recommend this helmet to anyone who wants something more basic but with a few little extras.

On Wisconsin

I love the helmet. It's light weight, and it has kept me warm on some pretty cold days. Hopefully, I won't get too warm when the weather gets warmer. I had a hard time finding a helmet that fit my small head. This one is perfect!

You can take the vent plugs out when you get hot.
