Total eye protection!
Well protected eyes through snow guns on a partly sunny, preseason east coast snowboarding day!
Great goggle for a small face (Asian)
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have these goggles with the "amber pink" lens, which has worked very well as an all day lens when I don't feel like swapping out for changing conditions. The fit of the goggles is very nice, although, I do have some trouble of them sliding down the bridge of my nose. I will note that I am an Asian female and while I understand that Oakley makes Asian specific frames, I have a hard time finding those goggles for a good price. Therefore, I purchased these! I have had some issues with fogging and I have not touched the inside of the lens. It is usually only when I have my balaclava high on my face, pushing my breath up towards my eyes, (and since these goggles don't sit perfectly flush to my Asian face), allowing the air to seep into my goggles. Nonetheless, it would be nice to have fog-free vision even without this issue. Other than that, the range of view is great and my vision is not distorted with these goggles. They fit well with my Smith Allure helmet (no gap)!
Giro Amulet Goggles
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
i got these for my mom and i tried them once and they're very nice. didn't realize it was going to come with Carl Zeiss lens but it did. it has a sturdy build yet light and good ventilation with no fogging. the fit was good as well. it has the rubber lining on the strap to keep it in place.
it comes with a soft pouch like most goggles.
Pleased with Fit and look
- Gender: Female
While I have not used this goggle on the slope, because I purchased for next season, it is everything I wanted. It fits superbly with my Giro Sheer helmet, and it is the dark lens that I wanted for those "bluebird" days. The lens quality was a definite deciding factor that led to the purchase of this goggle. I look forward to giving it a few turns next season. Very pleased.

Awesome women's goggle
The Amulet is SO awesome--it really fits and flatters a smaller face, IE, for the ladies! Of course it still has all of the high-quality optics that you get from Giro, like the spherical Carl Zeiss lens. I was lucky enough to get to visit the factory in Italy where Carl Zeiss optics makes these lenses, and they do an amazing job of quality and safety testing. You can wear these with pride! Plus they look awesome. :)
