Description

Winter warmth.

Sure, there are days that are too cold to ride, but with the proper attire, you can ignore that conventional wisdom. That’s why Giro built the 100 Proof Gloves — so you could laugh at Old Man Winter’s worst temper tantrums, and come home with your fingers intact. Fear not the harshest winter storms — these waterproof-breathable, highly insulated lobster mitts will keep you protected when you really need it.

With the lobster claw design, the 100 Proof’s intent is crystal clear — to keep you riding well below freezing. And with the X-Static silver threads woven into the antimicrobial fleece liner, they’ll keep you roasting, and fight odors in the process. The extended Merino cuff blocks out cold winter gusts, and gives your sleeves a little extra buffer if they start riding up.

With 100g Thinsulate XT-S insulation, the 100 Proof provides ample warmth, without excess bulk. But for those days when even insulation won’t do the trick, there are waterproof zippered pockets for hand warmers. The gloves were designed using Giro’s Super Fit Engineering, which considers the mechanics of your hand, as well as glove construction, to maximize dexterity. This is accomplished through the use of thoughtful seam placement and, perhaps most significantly, an ergonomic Clarino synthetic leather palm, which is grippy and durable. And to ensure you don’t risk frostbite if you need to answer your phone, the fingertips employ touchscreen-compatible technology, so you can keep your gloves on when you need them most.

The Giro 100 Proof Gloves are available in six sizes, from X-Small to XX-Large, and in the color Black.
