Stay warm and stylish

Riding in the winter doesn't require excessive layers to keep rolling. Suit up in a Giordana Trade Corsa Windtex Jacket for a single-layer victory against the frosty air. Representing three of the biggest names in European cycling, the Trade Corsa Jacket acts as a declaration of infatuation as you push your way up a snowy climb. Eddie Merckx, Pinarello, and Giordana Trade Jackets each have their own design to represent the brand that you love either riding in or on. And though the design of each jacket is eye catching, it's the construction that'll keep you donning this jacket for all of your cold weather riding.

Giordana's new three-layer Corsa fabric is used predominantly throughout the jacket to provide the ultimate in protection against the elements. The outer most layer is wind-resistant and has been given a DWR treatment to repel water. The mid-layer, a Windtex membrane, keeps wind and water from finding it's way through the fabric. Additionally, the membrane regulates temperature with its high breathability and moisture wicking abilities. The soft-brushed inner-layer comfortably insulates and retains core-generated warmth. For heightened breathability, the back panels, pockets, and underarms have been made from the SuperRoubaix fabric.

A tall collar keeps cold air from chilling your neck when fully zipped. Giordana also included a full-length zipper for on-the-fly ventilation. And to keep cold air and rain from sneaking in during long descents or downpours, the zipper has been backed with a Corsa zipper flap. The jacket comes equipped with three rear pockets to house all of your ride essentials. Giordana has also provided a single zipper pocket to keep your ID and credit card safely stashed away.

The Giordana Trade Corsa Windtex Jacket is available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large and in the colors Giordana Red/black, Eddy Merckx Black/red/white, and Pinarello Black/white.

At what temperature range is the Trade Corsa recommended (with just a thin base layer and jersey)? How would you compare this jacket with the Castelli Mortirolo Due Jacket in terms of recommended tempature range? I have another Castelli jacket, but I find that it is not warm enough for riding in the 30-40 degree tempature range. Please advise and let me know if you recommend a few other jackets for colder (say 25-35 degree temps when there is no sunlight). Thank you, Patrick
