Giordana bills the men's Fusion Bib Shorts and their Nimbo Insert as an introductory model. This confuses the hell out of us. Once you've experienced the confidently fitting stretch and moisture-managing treatment of the shorts' Moxie fabric, you'll understand why. Not only do they fit like a pair of $300 race bibs, but the hydrophobic treatment accelerates the wicking and evaporation process so you stay drier than the pros did even a few years ago.

The shorts include Giordana's Nimbo OmniForm chamois, and we're certain the connection to nimbus clouds isn't an accident. The insert consists of variable thicknesses of high-density foam that wrap a cloud-like core of perforated material to transport moisture away from your skin. The Fusions are finished with reflective details and the decidedly non-introductory LoPro45 leg bands, which are wide and lie flat with silicone grip on the inside for an aerodynamic fit that rides securely.
