An axe from a company named Gerber. Does this surprise you? Well, brace yourself. This isn't even Gerber's first one. The Gerber Sport Axe II isn't made of squash or carrots, either. The Sport Axe II combines a glass-filled nylon handle with a forged steel head for no-nonsense, super-tough little wood chopper.
Bottom Line: Not recommended for infants, babies, toddlers, children, tweens, or teens.

Great around the Camp

This little guy takes up very little space when packing and is worth it's wieght around the camp. The handle is light and well shaped and the head is well wieghted with out being clumsy making it a natural for chopping wood. The grey coating on the head starts coming off after a few uses but it works just the same.

A solid axe great for the backpacker, the camper, and (for myself) the trail ranger. Light weight, sharp blade, and it is a Gerber. Like Backcountry.com, Gerber stands behind their products!
