Description

All-mountain, all-terrain, all day.

When your daily driver is a medium-travel all-mountain bike, you need a tire as versatile as your bike. The Geax Sturdy Tire is geared for grip in any riding conditions—wet or dry, loose or packed, up or down. Large, well-spaced lugs tackle gnarly, technical terrain like a DH tire without DH weight. For dry, loose conditions, run the Sturdy up front and watch its burly side lugs rule the turns.

The Name Says it All!

The rocky conditions around Salt Lake and Moab are hard on tires. A set of tires usually lasts 1 riding season. So I thought I would try the Sturdy. Sure enough these tires are Sturdy! I have had the same set on my bike for 3 seasons and I haven't even bothered to rotate them because the back has plenty of tread left. Not much chunking of the tread and definitely long tread life. They climb well, grip awesome and stear well (I have one up front and in back). The 2.25's measure true to size and are larger than some other brands claimed 2.35's. Very supple ride and conform well to the terrain. Work well at low pressure too. If you want an agressive/durable tire this is it!
