AKA 27.5in TNT

Mountain bike tire treads are designed for specific conditions, from hard pack to sand and everything in between. Stopping mid-ride to change a tire for varying conditions is never an option, which is why Geax's AKA 27.5inch TNT tire was designed not to just tolerate all conditions, but to dominate them. 

The Geax AKA is a directional tire with ramps that reinforce the shallow, closely-spaced tread to create a resistance to flex. The knobs are not square. They have a wider leading edge and narrower trailing edge which means more surface area for traction when braking, especially in soft dirt. For the side knobs, Geax used a profile similar to what they have used on the Gato, but placed them closer together to ensure even greater precision when steering. This also assists with more effective and efficient climbing. This combination of treads and knobs makes the AKA a stellar weapon in all conditions short of soupy mud.

The Geax AKA is a TNT, tubes-no-tubes, tire. This means that while you may run it with sealant and without tubes on a tubeless-ready rim, you are also able to use a tube should the need arise.

The Geax AKA 27.5in Tire is available in a 2.2-inch width.
