With the Garmont Radium Thermo Alpine Touring Boot, you can zip to the top of the best backcountry lines and have the performance of your burliest alpine boots when you attack the descent. The EZ Fit liner is comfy right out of the box and can be thermo-formed for further customization while the unique overlap shell design works with the Bomber Walk mechanism for ultra-efficient hiking and touring.

  • A stiff flex of 130 enables the lightweight Radium to perform for the hardest charging skiers
  • The Pebax shell material provides exceptional stiffness and strength while reducing weight
  • PowerWrap ski mountaineering shell has more room for the first metatarsal, '6th toe', and navicular bone, and has an asymmetric space for the ankle bones that matches the body's natural asymmetry and a deep supportive heel cup with space for common heel spurs

Garmont Radium, Awesome!!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using this boot for 2 years, about 125 days on or off the resort and they work great for both resort skiing and ski touring. The walk mode is amazing and easy to use, the ski down is even better. They handle anything and every kind of conditions in the nicest way. I'm very impressed with this ski boot!

Garmont Radium

This boot walks great, feels awesome going up hill and the rubber sole grips as good as any on rocks. The stiffness of the boot has been okay as long as I am just touring. Using this in the resort is not so much fun the boot turns into a noodle. I have found that after walking up hill the boot with a booster strap is stiff enough for the most part, still would like some added rigidity in the tongue of the boot to allow me to power through my turns (I am also 200lbs for someone lighter this may not be a problem). This could be caused by my Intuition liner but, the amount of flex in the boot constantly pops the 2 bottom buckles creating a gap that allows snow into the liner, now since I usually walk with this boot my foot constantly melts the snow, but on cold days it can be very cold.
