Wear the Garmont Helium Alpine Touring Boot on that five-day hut-hopping trip and feel the power of this light-weight distance machine. Garmont gave the Helium’s lower shell plenty of progressive flex for touring and scrambling, but kept the cuff stiff for quick response and powerfully efficient downhill. A Lycra slide zone on the rear of the thermoformable liner makes for easier entry and exit, and also lessens your chances of getting Achilles’ blister after a couple of long ski days. A simple-to-use walk mechanism lets you effortlessly switch from hike to ski mode and an aggressive forward lean of 24-degrees puts you in the front seat when you point your toes straight down the mountain. The Garmont Helium Boot comes Dynafit and UNI compatible.

Bottom Line: Lightweight and powerful—a three-buckle boot that skis like a four-buckler.

Hi, I'm Javi, from Spain. The season is starting and I must

Hi, I'm Javi, from Spain. The season is starting and I must change my AT boots. I've got ones Scarpa Matrix whit a great battles and I'm searching someone more straigth in foot... I'm look Dynafit Zzero 4ct (carbon tongue) and Garmont Helium (no carbon but w/ overlap)... I think it are the betters compromise up/down/weigth in the market... but what is more stiff in downhill? I practise a allmountain ski... 1000-1500m ( maybe 4000 feets ¿?)uphill and little freeride downhills, until 45º +/-. Also, I valore Dynafit ZZeus... but is a little fat for me...
Thank, and sorry for my english...

as a shop monkey i can say i would do it for a good bottle of whiskey -- some nice booze and a humble attitude goes a long way.
