Vector S Power Meter Upgrade Kit

If you're in the market for the Garmin Vector S Power Meter Upgrade Kit, then you're no doubt already aware of the benefits of Garmin's Vector power monitoring system. You've probably been enjoying the +/- 2% accuracy that results from measuring power at the immediate source where the engine (you) inputs power into the bicycle's mechanism, but you're looking for even more precision.

If you just have the regular Vector S Pedals, your setup only has a sensor on the left pedal. The readings transmitted through Vector's ANT+ wireless technology are based on metrics gathered by one pedal, which is then doubled. The Upgrade Kit puts a sensor on the right pedal, too, so you can get different data readings from your left and right pedals.

This will help you identify holes and weak spots in your pedal stroke based on the output of both legs in myriad situations. Does your right leg flag under sprints? Are you more dependent on one leg while climbing? The Vector Upgrade Kit will map these discrepancies so you can model a training program to target and correct them, making you a more efficient cyclist.

As with all Vector Pedals, you'll be able to view your metrics with Garmin Connect once you've finished your ride or race; the included wireless ANT+ USB stick allows you to update your firmware with ease, and LOOK Keo-style cleats are included.

Please note that in order for the pedal pods to be compatible with your setup, the width of the crank must be 38.0mm or less, and the height of the crank must be 15.0mm or less. The Garmin Vector S Power Meter Pedals are compatible with Garmin Edge 500, 510, 800, and 810, and the Garmin Forerunner 910XT.
