Engineered for the great outdoors, this Oregon 600t features a touchscreen that's readable in dazzlingly bright sunlight, is strengthened for impact-resistance, and is rated at IPX-7 for defense against bumps, dust, dirt, humidity, and water. The touchscreen is also still operational when used with gloves.

The Oregon 600t has a built-in three-axis electronic compass with accelerometer tilt compensation to show you where you're heading even when standing still. Its barometric altimeter tracks changes in pressure to pinpoint your precise altitude, and it even plots barometric pressure over time to help you keep an eye on changing weather conditions. Pre-loaded with the European Recreational Map and a worldwide basemap with shaded relief, this device offers all the tools for outdoor travelers throughout Europe with map details such as roads, forests, terrain contours, elevation information and many points of interest. It can also hold a massive amount of geocaches, ranging upwards of four million. With truly no limits, the Oregon 600t filters caches by size, terrain, difficulty, and type, while also allowing you to record your logs in the field.

The Bluetooth and ANT wireless capabilities let you transfer large files such as photos, geocaches, adventures, routes, and Custom Maps between Oregon 600-series devices. Advanced Waypoint Management lets you see and edit everything on one screen, giving you the option to delete one or multiple waypoints at a time from the menu. Finally, besides its remarkable performance of up to 16 hrs of battery time, the Oregon 600t features an outdoor dual battery system that gives you the option of using the internally rechargeable NiMH pack (not included) or traditional AA batteries in case there is no opportunity for charging.
