The Garmin eTrex GPS uses super-accurate WAAS satellite technology to track and store your progress, in a simple, intuitive, and rugged handheld package. Small in size, but gigantic in features, The Garmin eTrex GPS unit allows you to mark your position, track your progress with an accuracy inside of three meters, and store up to 500 waypoints along your route for easy backward navigation. The eTrex's small size makes it easy to pack into a bag or pocket, and the bright yellow housing stands out against for quick acquisition in dark or cluttered spaces. The ambidextrous design places every button on both sides of the unit, so you can keep one hand free and still perform all the functions with the other. Garmin made the eTrex's rugged plastic housing shock resistant and waterproof, so it will survive the falls and underwater duckings of real outdoor use. The eTrex will store up to 500 user waypoints, with different icons for easy labeling, and features TrackBack technology to send you back home in a jiffy.
