Take the plunge into steeper terrain with the G3 Women’s Zest-T Ski, and marvel at its responsiveness in the steep, tight trees. A titanal reinforced macro-block wood core, and raised tip enable you to charge hard all over the mountain from steep techy slopes to narrow chutes. The Zest-T’s progressive camber provides you with an easy-to-turn, quick, and responsive ski that helps boost your confidence in sticky situations. Its low mass tip geometry also helps reduce flutters when you hail butt down the hill.

Bottom Line: For those looking to step up their skiing.

Wow! Lengths of 172 & 177cm...I usually ski a 160. Is this length normal for a women's powder ski?

They will ski a little shorter because of some tip rocker. But, in general, they are designed for the most aggressive of women tele/AT'ers.

I am a long term fan of G3 skis. As a ski patroller, I need my gear to be durable, and the cap/sidewall construction has proven to be both full of performance, and reliable.
For backround, my day-to-day has been the sirens and rapid transits. I still think the sirens are one of the greatest skis ever made... and nothing shreds the resort like the transits.
Skiing a lot of in-bounds, I wanted a fat ski for pow days that wouldn't wimp out when the mountain gets skied out and could hold an edge on the hardpack. A lot of the new-school skis say they can rip the hardpack, but they chatter, etc. The Zest-Ts are stiff enough that they really were great on harder snow/groom. If they lose anything in powder performance with that stiffness, I didn't notice. They were a blast in pow and battleshipped through crud.

While this still won't be my everyday-ski for the hardpack, I will not fear situations where I have to take the fat boards on hardpack. I was surprised, too, at how light they seem to be for such a big ski. I could definitely use this for just touring, too.

Great ski. Not wimpy like some of the lady skis (viva)
