Must buy for Black Diamond skins

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This simple little tool will make your life a lot easier if you bought skins from any brand other than G3. If your skins are from G3 or the Backcountry.com skins, it will be already included.

    Solid, Easy, and Cheap

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There is no need to guess with cutting skins anymore! This tool is uber simple. Just like Connor mentioned, it works a lot like a letter opener. Just put your skins on your skis, put the edge of the tool up against the edge of the ski, and pull back, thereby cutting the skin. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy

Don't Botch Those Skin Cuts Anymore!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I recently bought a pair of Voile skins that needed to be trimmed. Voile does include a skin cutter that I'm just not a huge fan of the style - think a letter opener.

Though the Voile skin cutter would probably work fine, I know this does the job great and I liked that it accounts for a bit of offset. I was willing to shell out a few more dollars for a clean cut that I wouldn't be angry about later, with this being the solution. Just make sure to measure twice, cut once!
