After a long slug up the mountain you reach the ridgeline and pull the skins off of the G3 Tonic Ski. When you look downhill an array of options tempt you. Should you venture in the trees to find softer snow, or carve high-speed turns down the open wind-blasted bowl? The Tonic’s early rise tip and reduced camber underfoot makes it an easy-to-steer, responsive ski in either of these conditions. And if you like to go full throttle the Tonic’s dual-density sidewall helps qualm the high-speed jitters in variable snow conditions.

Bottom Line: Rides both hardpack and pow.
