Nails the sweet spot between performance and tourability.

After a full morning of laying tracks down the resort's frontside you begin to eye the untouched snow out the sidecountry gates, and decide to put your skins on the G3 Tonic Ski. The big question is, should you venture out into the trees' soft snow or make the long slug up the next peak for some high-speed pow turns? In either of these conditions the Tonic’s revised profile, a combination of early-rise tip and reduced camber underfoot, makes it an easy-to-steer, responsive ski. And if you like to go full-throttle, the Tonic’s dual-density sidewall helps calm high-speed jitters in variable snow conditions.

Details

  • EarlyRise 2.5 profile features an early tip, a touch of camber underfoot, and a slight tail rise to enhance your freeride performance, provide better floatation, and offer easy steering for bigger skis
  • Low-mass tip and dual-density sidewall make high speed jitters a thing of the past
  • JoyRide construction features a fiberglass and poplar wood core which furnishes a lively, smooth, and super-fun ride
  • Poplar wood core also has an excellent weight-to-strength ratio to create a lightweight ski that lasts
  • Dual-density ABS/TPU sidewall consists of two different densities of ABS and TPU so that the softer, lower layer acts as a shock absorption system, while the upper layer provides a direct energy transfer to ski edges
  • 100mm waist enables the Tonic to float effortlessly in pow and turn easily and predictably in all conditions
  • Variable Q sidecut means a shorter turning radius in the front half of the ski and a longer turning radius in the rear to offer effortless turn initiation and a tail that enables you to tweak your turns and dump speed progressively
  • Flat skin-ready tail notch for when the resort isn't enough and it's time to head out the sidecountry gates
