G3 and K2 Schi Devil screws

The bindings are great but I needed to mount them to a pair of K2 schi devil skis which have the preset screw holes. I spoke with two people at backcountry seperatley who both assured me the G3 provided screws would work. When I went to mount the skis it was clear I needed a machine screw which a 3rd backcountry gear expert I spoke with finally confirmed. Ultimately he pointed me to a web site that sold the conversion screws and when I recieved those, they were too short. Truth be told even the tech at G3 was unsure what to use. I found a blog on the internet that indicated other people suffered the same problem. This binding and ski combination require 16mm M5 SS machine screws which were easily purchased at the local hardware store (the allen screw fit best). Althouogh I had a plenty of frustration up front, the skiis and bindings are great and my wife loves them.

No, these all come with G3s Crosstour cartridge.If you want to upgrade to the stiffer XMountain or Worldcup spring, replacement cartridges are available at:http://www.backcountry.com/store/GGG0098/G3-Targa-Cartrid

simple enough, if you have a small foot and need women's specific bindings please just buy these. Great reasonable price if your not going backcountry climbing. These are super reliable I have had them all season and have had no issues with the cartridges or cables. The green is super rad but can only be seen in the back.
