The G3 Spitfire Ski is the plank of choice for mountain guides, ski professionals, and anyone else headed for variable or uncertain snow conditions. The 89mm waist floats in the pow without sacrificing its carving game on groomers or sun crust.

  • Torsion box construction and wood core provide smooth turning and stable skiing
  • Moderate dimensions provide balanced performance for any ski conditions
  • Lightweight design makes it ideal for ski mountaineering or long backcountry tours

Bottom Line: Uncertain ski conditions? The Spitfire is all over it.

Write your question here...hey 2nd year tele'ing and ready to buy tele-ski's. Am 5'9", 140, and female ---- these look like a good all mtn ski, i'll be doing both backcountry and on mtn. What are your thoughts on ski and ski size?

The Spitfire is an awesome all-rounder. If you live in powder country, you may want to look at a slightly wider ride-maybe the Zest or Tonic from G3, but you won't go wrong with the Spitfire.

This is the one my one quiver ski
To glide to carve to run and bump
I favor these valiant steeds above all others
Cherish them deeply with one fat kiss in the backcountry

A great time to be had with these solid platform but quick in the trees and hardpack. Get them long and they will do you right.

Write your question here...Hi, been telly skiing for 14 years, currently have worlds @ 174. I'm 5-10 180lbs, would the 170's work?

Go for the 177 at least. 170's would be a bit short for a 180lb guy. You could even go for the 184, if you would like more speed and longer turns. I am 160 lb, 6' and don't ski anything under 185cm. Long skis are faster and more stable. This ski has enough sidecut that it will make short radius turns pretty easily, too, so don't be afraid to long. A 170 will just be a bit too short for soft snow. Good luck!

Picked up teleing the past winter, became pretty sufficient for all-mountain and backcountry riding. Interested in buying my first set up. Im 6'2" and about 195 lbs, any suggestions for a set up?
These skis seem like they might be the perfect fit, but im a little concerned about length.

I would go for the 184 length for a dude your size. The 170 would just be way too little ski.

Setup wise I would have to recommended HammerHeads and either BD Push or Garmont Energy boots. Your about my size and you will enjoy a more powerful boot
