It's not easy being the boss of all things deep and powdery, but someone's gotta do it, right? With the G3 Empire Carbon 127 Ski as your right-hand man, you'll be able to rule your domain with an iron fist—well, carbon fiber and Titanal fist—and make short work of all those pillow lines, open bowls, and tree runs. With a 127mm waist and full rocker, the Empire is designed to surf the deepest of the deep, slashing and surfing through the coldest smoke you can find. It also handles hardpack like a much narrower ski, courtesy of its two sheets of Titanal, torsionally stiff sandwich construction, and burly ABS sidewalls.
This do-it-all-domination is predicated on the light and lively paulownia and poplar wood core, which is light enough to take uphill but plenty bomber enough to put big, steep lines in their place. Dual carbon-fiber laminates provide even more lightweight stiffness and tour-friendly weight savings, while the Rockwell C48 steel edges and lightning-quick P-Tex Electra base are tough, fast, and easy to repair after a weekend spent putting down snowy peasant rebellions.
