Donde esta el powder, mang? The G3 el Hombre Ski sniffs out the deep stuff and then puts the hurt on. With a 105mm waist, these G3's are stable underfoot, but still hold an edge through the mank thanks to a healthy sidecut and hardened steel edges. G3 gave the el Hombre a smooth flex so it cruises the deeps and is damp and predictable in big turns. Mount your telemark or alpine bindings and show the steep and deep who's el Hefe.

Bottom Line: For masked powder hounds or big mountain wrestlers who want a big ski.

Trying to decide between the El Hombre in a 177 and the Baron

Trying to decide between the El Hombre in a 177 and the Baron in a 170. 155 lb, 5'10", expert tele skier. Been on the Atomic Kongur 177cm for the last 3 years - want a "turnier" ski for riding the lifts, all terrain & conditions. Lots of short fat skis in Vail's bowls really change the snow conditions, so I need to adapt. Any recommendations?

Those are 2 very different skis, FAT and all mountain. I have skied the Baron and it is the gripiest Tele board I have ever skied. It is a great all mountain lift ski and would be a great choice. But if you are looking for a back bowl ski and want something not as wide as the El Hombre, do not forget the Reverend. I would say if you are looking at getting a 170cm, the Baron would be a bit small. The wider Reverend in a 170 would be a nice all around ski for you.

"Go big or go home." In all seriousness I would say the 185 would be right if you are the East Coast and the 192 would be better for the west. The G3 El Hombre Ski is a very popular ski that you will love.
