Description

A fatty you won't mind hauling up a hill.

The only district of interest is that of pow. Enter the G3 District Ski, with a serious hankering for plentiful snow. Superlight for a fatty, it's not afraid to work for turns; its semi-cap construction and all-wood core keep its girth under control. A reduced traditional camber gives you enough edgehold for hardpack but adds to its loft in the deep. You can call it District P.

  • Early Rise 2.5 profile combines raised tip and tail with reduced traditional camber underfoot for float on pow and crud and superior edgehold on hardpack
  • Powder Light poplar and paulownia wood core with Titanal aluminum reinforcement and dual density sidewall is superlight yet strong and stable
  • Ultralight semi-cap construction uses vertical sidewall and cap combo for tenacious grip, balanced power, reduced weight, and exceptional mobility
  • 112mm waist is plenty wide for deep pow and crud yet maneuverable
  • Wide-radius sidecut maintains stability at high-flying speed

I've got a handful of days on this ski, and another handful on next year's model, in BC back country. Don't own it yet, but will soon. I don't want to ski anything else. This ski handles all the terrain I've been in with ease, from steeps to glades and trees. It does everything I've asked of it, ripping big lines with confidence, turning easily and quickly, and I never have a problem with being "in the back seat", which I've had problems with on other skis. Simply a pleasure, highly recommended.

I have over 25 days on this ski. Good balance of weight and performance. Works well for open fast turns and tight turns in the trees. I drive them with a pair of Dynafit TLT Performance boots (carbon) - system works well.

Really like what I have seen from this ski. Haven't skied it, but have handled it and spent some time studying it, and I can say that I really want to ski it. Super solid feel, great dimensions. Top sheet is super solid and weight is good for a ski this size. I'd give it 5 Stars if I had the chance to ski it.
