Description

Float through your powder-cake in and out of the resort.

You reach the lift line, flick the snow off of the G3 Women's Cake Ski's topsheet, and recall the epic pow run you just had. Thanks to the Cake's lofty 110mm waist and early-rise tip and tail, you just effortlessly floated through deep snow (while hooting and hollering with glee). Fine-tuned for lighter riders, the Cake also features semi-cap construction and low-mass tips which shave off valuable ounces and make side and backcountry jaunts more than appealing.

  • EarlyRise 3.0 profile features an early-rise tip and tail with reduced camber underfoot to enhance your freeride performance, provide better floatation, and offer easy steering for bigger skis
  • Low-mass tip and dual-density sidewalls make high-speed jitters a thing of the past and shave valuable ounces off of the Cake to enhance its tourability without sacrificing performance
  • Power Light construction features a poplar and paulownia wood core and a titanal aluminum sheet which furnishes a lively, smooth, and super-fun ski to ride
  • Poplar and paulownia wood core also has an excellent weight-to-strength ratio which offers a lightweight ski that lasts
  • A layer of titanal aluminum dampens the ski and helps to absorb vibrations
  • Dual-density ABS/TPU sidewall consists of two different densities of ABS and TPU so that the softer, lower layer acts as a shock absorption system, while the upper layer provides direct energy transfer to ski edges
  • 110mm waist boosts float on deep snow descents
  • Flat-skin-ready tail notch for when the resort isn't enough and it's time to head out the sidecountry gates

I really wanted to check these out for a touring set up, but when hand flexed, they felt far too stiff for my liking. I prefer a softer flex (VJJ is perfect) and these weren't going to cut it for me. If you like a stiffer ski, this may be your perfect match.
