The G3 15mm Binding Shims give you control and stability on high-speed runs and quick turns through the trees. These shims work with any telemark 3-hole bindings (these do not work with G3 Targa bindings). The 15mm Binding Shims accept G3's climbing wires, so you can still get out on those dawn patrols, and the shims' forward-flex grooves maintain a proper ski flex as you skin up and ski down. G3's unique 5-hole pattern in the 10-ounce Binding Shims allows you to remount bindings at different settings. *These shims are not for G3 Targa bindings.
Bottom Line: Get a little height and a lot of stability with G3's 15mm Binding Shims.
Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.
This "universal" shim does NOT appear to fit Black
This "universal" shim does NOT appear to fit Black Diamond 01 or 02 bindings. Am I correct with this assessment? Is there a work-around? Is the G3 Targa shim the right one for BD 01/02?

Will this replace my binding shim/plastic base for my Rainey
Will this replace my binding shim/plastic base for my Rainey Super Loop bindings which I repaired last year with parts I got from 22 Designs in Idaho? I think they're the same size roughly, 9/16" high (same as 15mm), 5 1/2 " long, 2 1/4" wide, with 5 holes for screws for the metal plate, and a groove for the back of the metal plate flange to fit down into ? My K2 Super Stinx are now history as one of the bindings ripped out, but the bindings are excellent and with the new parts they're still ready to go on some new skis.
