The Full Tilt Men’s Konflict Ski Boot is a take-no-prisoners tactical mountain assault machine. Bred from the same design as the old-school Flexon Boot (yes, the one pros swore by for years), the Konflict boasts a cutting-edge Quick-Fit Pro Liner, which thermo-molds around your foot when activated by your body heat. Add Full Tilt's legendary comfort and a rigid #8 flex tongue, and you're ready to push your personal limits on the mountain.
Full Tilt's three-piece last with progressive flex keeps you in control without bashing your shins to splinters
Active rubber bootboard absorbs vibrations and high-speed impacts as you figure out how not to land a backcountry kicker (learn through mistakes, friend)
Powerwrap liner maximizes power transfer to boot shell, and J Bar liner construction holds your ankle in place for precise control
Cable buckles distribute pressure across your foot just like shoelaces, and a backwoods-style cable cover inspires you to slay the slopes with hillbilly zeal
High-performance design is versatile enough to dabble between untracked big-mountain lines and the lift lines
Bottom Line: Time-tested design basics and modern technology come together, with some woodsman style thrown in.
These boots have been my favorite of all time. They have all of the qualities I look for in ski boots: comfortable, light, warm, durable, powerful. I do plenty of ski touring each season with these boots, and they perform exceptionally well for a full alpine boot. One of the best features is how easy the liners come out and go back in. This is very helpful when you need to dry them out, or when you are winter camping.
So I'm considering this boot while keeping my eyes on a few others (Tecnica Agent 120, Salomon Quest 12.) I hear a lot of good things on this boot (light, warm) but I still had a few questions. How is this boot for walking and touring? Can I switch the tongue to have a bit more flew (I hear that it's really stiff) in order to have a bit more fun and quicker turns in the powder? That is where I plan on doing most of my skiing in the seasons to come. Thanks!

I've used a bunch of different boots but mostly stuck to stiff all mountain inspired - my last was salomon falcon pro....these are an absolute dream from the second you step into them. No longer will u be jealous of your snowboard friends. They are so soft, easy on and off, warm, extremely light weight, all while keeping your foot nice and tight and in control. I will never go back to a traditional 4 buckle, i beleive the hype and its only a matter of time before the word spreads on how easy and responsive these things actually are. I didn't heat mold them, stretch the toes or anything, i went straight out of the box as reccomended to me by many full tilt cult members, mid season no less and they performed like id had them for a decade. don't waste your time doing research, invest in full tilt and get a few different tounges if you want. thats the best part of the FT, the adjustable stiffness.
I bought a pair of these boots at the end of the season last year. While they felt fine in the store, when I got out and did a run in them they created a sharp painful pressure point on the outside of my shins around the top buckle. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, does the pain go away with continued use? I really like the boots but the pain makes it impossible to ski in them for an extended period of time. Thanks
I tried on a pair of these boots at the store and had similar pain on the outside of my shins, mostly the left one. Does heat molding the liner make this pain go away? Other than that the boots felt really good.
I had the same problem with mine the first time I wore them. I ended up loosening the cable. By the time the liners had molded to my foot I couldn't feel a thing. Just give it time to mold to your foot and maybe loosen the cable and it should be fine.
These are the most amazing boots. They are warm and comfortable. I can wear these all day in all conditions and not have to be carried off the mountain. The flex is not the stiffest on the market, but for me the stiffness is great, it allows for me to stomp big airs and not worry about shin bang all season long. Check out Full Tilt's line up I'm sure there is a boot you'll love!!
