Spread the love.

With a wider foot and all-mountain appetite, you definitely like to spread out a little—so does the Full Tilt High Five Men's Ski Boot. It has a roomy 102-millimeter-wide last—so no more painful crunch and squeeze—and the highest performance Intuition Pro moldable liner for uncompromising precision fit and performance. The Powerwrap liner design with J-Bar heel hold keeps your foot in place for maximum power transference, and an Active boot board absorbs shock for a silky-smooth ride. The medium-to-stiff 7 flex is what you want in an all-mountain boot, with versatility for steep chutes, pow, and frontside carving. This Full Tilt middle-of-the-pack high-performer has the same three-piece shell design as the burlier boots, but with comfier accommodation for that manly, mountain-hungry foot.

  • FTI Influence three-piece shell
  • Medium-stiff 7 Flex
  • Intuition Pro liner with Powerwrap
  • J-Bar ankle hold

good not great boot

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I finally pulled the trigger on these after waiting a season too long to replace my old Salomon x-wave boots. I really like the wider last and the fact that they are super easy to get on and off, however I had to size up a full size from the Salomon. I'm not a huge fan of the green color, but since its mostly covered by pants/binding/snow its not a big deal. I really like the intuition meat moldable liners. The one problem I have with these boots is that you have to leave them at least partially buckled when walking, otherwise the tongue will flip forward you you are a crash waiting to happen. With no 'walk mode' available and having to leave the boots buckled, walking is much more of a pain than in other modern boots...depending on your normal routine and how you get to the mountain this may or may not be something to consider...5 star as a ski boot/1 star as a walking boot.

Not sure if you can get stiffer tongues, but I know Full Tilt sells replacement tongues- you could contact them and find out.

High Performance and Perfect Wide Fit

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've struggled over the years to find a boot that doesn't cut off circulation and make my foot cramp up and freeze. But these boots with the smart foam intuition liner is amazing. Warm, dry, high all mountain performance. Easy on and easy off for these boots. The cable system takes all of 2 minutes to get used to.
