Accomplished pro skiers and locals alike sing the praises of the Full Tilt's Bumble Bee Pro Ski Boot. Some say it’s the only boot they’ll ski in; others claim it feels like “having a hot girl ask you in for a drink after the first date.” Full Tilt updated this cult classic with a beefy plaid liner but kept the original insect-inspired color scheme. This super-firm, high-performance boot plows through the mankiest conditions, while the custom heat-moldable Powerwrap liners provides a natural flex and excellent power transfer. The Bumble Bee Pro’s dual density medium-flex tongue supports your shin with a soft flex zone and stiffer lateral support, while active rubber footboards absorb impact and vibration to take the sting out of aggressive turns and hard landings. An Aegis Microbe Shield in the liner helps prevent the ol’ ski-bum-in-a-sauna smell, thereby increasing your chances of even scoring a first date.

These are definitely not designed for the widest of feet. Although the liner will pack down a bit once heated and fitted. I have a pretty average foot and depending on how thick a sock I wear - I get hot spots.

I have been skiing on a pair of Daleboot's for several seasons now. Recently I was in at the Backcountry.com retail store and noticed the Full Tilt Bumblebee's and decided to give them a shot. I am very glad that I did. Once the intuition liners have been heat molded to your foot, the fit is unbelievable. When I compare these to my completely custom Daleboot's, the Full Tilt's fit much better and perform better as well. I especially like the idea of being able to control the boot's flex by simply changing out the tongue. This certainly is a low volume boot. I have always worn custom insoles due to my high arch, but this boot does not have the volume for insoles. However, the liner fits so good I cannot see why a person would require a custom footbed. The boots are warm, good anywhere on the mountain, and do not require any tinkering during the day. After wearing these, I would not buy anything other than a 3 piece boot in the future.

The forefoot width is 98mm. Full Tilt says these have a "medium flex," which is probably around 90-100 on the traditional index scale.

I can't believe how comfortable, responsive and hard charging these boots are. good for steeps, pow, park, and ripping everywhere. the flex profile is amazing. you feel like you are in a race plug in when you are edging, but there is no such thing as shin bang with these boots.
What's the difference between the Bee pro and the Konflict,
What's the difference between the Bee pro and the Konflict, aside from flex? Which is better for comfort?

The Konflict comes with two different tongues, which can be swapped to change the flex as desired. The BB Pro comes with a single tongue. The last is the same between them; if this boot fits you correctly, the comfort level should be identical between the two models.

This is what you want. Period. The Dalbello Krypton supposedly is the successor to the famous Flexon, but that's just not the case. Too narrow in the toe box, much heavier, etc. Full tilt actually uses the original lasts, with some upgraded material technology. Get them. Get them now.
