Great for shorter runs.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use it running trails. I had to safety pin the pouch to the end of the tightening tab to prevent the whole thing from slipping. Now it works great. The cap fits my other Fuelbelt bottles which I find convenient. The shape & size of the bottle fits nicely in my hand. I'm only giving it a 4 due to the safety pin issue.

Meh: Not for small hands

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Pros: Reasonable bottle size, somewhat ergonomic. I wanted this as I was scaling down from a 20 oz handheld. Comfortable handstrap, comes in lots of colors. Ounces marked on side of bottle. Zippered pocket can fit a gu. There's also a little velcro key-sized "pocket" on the other size.

Cons: No insulation, but that may not matter because the bottle opening is not big enough for an ice cube, zip pocket is not big enough for ID, Strap not adjustable to small hands. Lower elastic band can easily slip off bottle.

I like a snug fit on my hand because I don't want to have to actively grip/squeeze the bottle while I run. I didn't keep this because it wasn't a snug fit. If this isn't a sticking point for you or if you have larger hands, this is a good inexpensive option.

Fits Easily in the Palm of my Hand.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

First time using any sort of water on runs as I've been packing in 10+ miles w/out bringing any water. It fits comfortably in my hand & the little external pocket is handy for chapstick, key, etc. I haven't had any leaking issues thus far and I need to give it a good tug with my teeth to get it open. Might be because it's new? (Hoping not)...

Anywho, pretty straightforward, easy to use & for the price it's definitely worth a shot.

Not sure

Got this as a replacement for my fuel belt .thought it might be better for shorted runs.
The bottel seems to slip off and i didn't like how the water spills.
I think i am not comfortable carrying something in hand.
I will stick to my fuel belt

Just fell short

Great palm sized bottle with ergonomics that keep it comfortable in the hand. The pouch and retention system work just fine, but the sport style stopper leaks and even detaches with a not so gentle pull of the teeth. Ultimately due to the less than stellar leaky spout, I would not recommend this item. Mine could just be a lemon though...
