BB-AL90 Bottom Bracket Assembly - BB90

The BB90 bottom bracket design does away with the threaded-in cups of the external bearing configuration. Instead, the 37 x 24 x 7mm high-quality steel bearings in this FSA bottom bracket assembly press directly into the 90mm wide x 37mm i.d. shell on the frame. Currently the Trek Madone is the best known example of bikes that use this system. Our FSA kit includes the two cartridge bearings and two black plastic dust shields. It is important to note that the inner races of each bearing have a machined groove that accepts a lip on the dust shield. This groove must be on the outboard side of the bearings when they are pressed into place.

Our FSA BB-AL90 Bottom Bracket Assembly for BB90 is specifically designed to be used with their Gossamer Pro, Gossamer, and Energy alloy crankarms. Note: this kit will NOT work with FSA's carbon fiber cranksets. Actual weight is 44 grams.
