If you skipped school nine times with Ferris, dominated Helltrack with Cru Jones and surfed the North Shore with Chandler, the stunningly retro Freestyle USA Shark Classic 80's Sport Watch will flash you back to radical faster than Doc Brown's Delorean. For this season, Freestyle USA decided to style out this time-traveling timepiece with a totally boss 80's color scheme that'll move ya like Juicy Fruit. So slip on your Original Jams, pump up the INXS, and head for the beach with a crucially cool chronograph strapped to your wrist. Just don't forget the Zinka.
Bottom Line: Check the date function on the Shark, or you'll lose track of the decade.
The white/red combo is rad. Super functional for running or work. Only thing is, it is a little large for my wrist -- I have it on the last hole and it works enough (doesn't slide around to other side of my wrist or anything)... I am pretty small/short though, so if it works for me, it should work for most; but if you are extra tiny, probably should go with the smaller, thinner band model.
the watch shows the day of the week above the time in small letters. to view the month and date you need to press the mode button to view it on a separate screen view
This watch is fresh. I always wanted one when i was little and now i have three. So maybe growing up has a few perks. Buy one in every color and watch the women flock.

I bought this watch around mid-december, and it works great! But I have only one issue, the band ( I got the white+red combo) Turned a slight greenish gray color only on the bottom half, and I can't seam to get it off and trust me, I tried ; goo gone, lime away, soft scrub, soap, water, 409, windex, along with a whole bunch of house hold cleaners...
Evanster's answer is a tad confusing (and partly wrong) so let me clear it up. The pink on the Cyan shark is a paler pink, not a "hot" pink like the pink and black, but also not salmon. Still looks awesome though, in my opinion. As for it being a girl's watch, I'd say the Shark is unisex. The Shark Mid is smaller, more of a "girl" size; if you are petite I would definitely recommend the Shark Mid.
The girls watch is the "Shark-Mid" also listed on this site, but not this item. (They are totally unisex anyway) It's also hot pink, not pale or salmon. 80's right?!
Great watch! I bought the yellow and black one and it looks dope! It does everything a good watch should do. I don't have to worry about ever taking it off (since its waterproof) and its very solidly built. The alarms are easy to use as well and it has a stop watch. Also its super cheap for how good the watch is. While it might look like this watch is more about fashion than anything else, it is a extremely functional and effective watch for any outdoor activity.I'd buy it again in a second
But many watches say that they are water proof up to say; 165 feet but when you dive to about 20 feet they mess up. Does this watch have an issue with that? Thanks! If I get this, I'll take it on my next dive! :-)
I love this fun watch. I was a teen in the 80's and now a busy Mom. This watch is cute, stylish and just down right fun to wear. I love that it's water proof for swim lessons and bath time.
Whether you can or not is a question I'm not prepared to guess at right now, but this watch is waterproof to 100m, so if you do manage to make it that deep and are wearing this watch at the time, it'll be fine.
So many people comment on this watch! They love it and I do to. I have the full size one, careful not to purchase the "Shark-Mid" if you are a boy. It is tough and waterproof. I take it surfing and snorkeling, I have not had it off since I got it in the mail. I am totally getting another color!
I love freestyle watches and have been wearing them since I was a kid. It's completely waterproof and really resistant to bangs on tables, walls, etc. I wear it running and it feels great on my wrist and is generally super comfortable. The ONLY thing I would change is the face size--it is a little too big for me (female). Otherwise, everything about the watch is excellent!
