Fox River Wick Dry Off Road Crew Sock - 2007 BCS

This is a super-comfortable, somewhat warm wool-blend sock. It has a nice, snug fit in the heel and arch. It is just a bit too roomy in the toe for my taste, but that is a very minor con. Doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of a $30 pair, but for the price, this is a great all-around sock. I bought another pair.

I have not worn these hiking yet, so this review is based on casual wear. I am a huge fan of smart wool socks, and these Fox River socks are certainly on the same level. They feel sturdy and provide nice support and cushion. I recommend! They may deserve 5 stars, but like I said, I have not worn them with my hiking boots yet.

I wear women's US shoe size 7.5. According to sizing chart, I have to wear size M. But M is too large for me.

I ordered a Medium as I wear a 7.5. The socks were too large. Be sure to size down!

I did an around the world trip about 2 years ago and brought 4 pairs of these with me. They were very comfortable, washed well and dried super quick. I'd wash them in the sink, hang them up overnight and they'd be dry in the morning. I'm still wearing them to this day. I'd say they've easily had 100+ uses at this point and the elastic still holds up and they are still comfortable. They are all I wear at this point. Highly Recommended!

I'm a huge fan of merino wool socks, and these are a fine example. My man wears these to the office for ten hours a day and loves them. They are holding up well under machine washing (I air dry them). They look very nice.

The size is accurate-I wear a size 8 shoe and the medium fits perfectly. I love the arch support to keep the sock in place. I wear these as everyday socks-they aren't too thick for my regular shoes and they breathe well.

I know I am contradicting what this last person said but I am a size 7.5 and ordered a Med and these socks fit me like a glove. I do have a slightly wider foot than the norm though. Very nice cushy padding on the bottom with thicker padding on the toe & heel sections of the sock. Nice length & the oatmeal is a nice natural tan color. I'm happy with them!
