Description

It's a mammoth of a sock.

Fox River's Mammoth Sock uses Thermolite insulating fabric to keep your foot and lower leg warm and comfortable in your ski or snowboard boot. Memory-knit construction, a bit of spandex, and a contoured rib top hold the sock in place and eliminate sock sag. Reinforced toe and heel fabric add extra comfort and durability to the life of your sock.

Awesome

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These socks are awesome! They kept my feet warm and dry on a very cold day of skiing. They stay put and do not bunch. Very comfortable and kept me going all day long!

Best in class mid-lightweight

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have a myriad of other socks of which some are equal and some more expensive than these. When I have a choice I will pick these first because they are the most comfortable material. That being said I wouldnt consider them lightweight, more mid-to-lightweight. Do yourself a favor and buy a couple pairs when the go on sale.

nice socks

These socks are great. They're not quite as thin as I would have liked but they work just fine for the slightly colder days. They're a little thicker than the comparable pairs from Darn Tough and EURO socks. The only other thing is that the front-padding is not as anatomically fit as some other brands so it tends to feel just a tad bulky in my boot. Really not much of an issue though. I wear 29.0 ski boot and a 12.0 street shoe and the XL's fit me fine.
