The Fox River Country Quarter is a great light hiking, trail running, and casual all around sock with a ton of comfort-enhancing technology built in. Corn-derived Ingeo fibers wick moisture from your foot without retaining odor or pilling, and decompose after a long life of use without harming the environment. Dimensional knitting provides natural channels for escaping perspiration, and a memory fit that returns to its original shape after repeated washings. Reinforced areas further increase the life of the sock, and Fox River stitches the toes completely flat to banish blisters.

Bottom Line: More sock than you'll know what to do with.

Love 'em. Took 'em on a 13 mile hike as soon as I got 'em in 60 degree weather. While my supposed anti-bacterial shirt stunk to high heaven the next day, my socks were great. Never were sweaty even though upper body was and were super comfortable.

Fox River soxs from all the brand name hiking socks I've used give me NO allergic reactions on my skin, have excellent wicking, and are comfortably cushioned without making my feet hot inside my boots.
