I used to ride dirtbikes all of the time and the Sidewinder reminds me of some of the older Fox moto-gloves. Not a lot of padding in the palms but enough to keep you comfortable.

As other review say they do run quite snug (read small) I would order a size up if you are in doubt.

I use them for XC and some enduro-style riding. Kept me cool in the summer and protected from most wind up until mid November. (Michigan weather, including some warm-snow days.)

Pretty durable. I put quite a bit of time on them last year and aside from looking used due to sweat and dirt they are functionally flawless. Should easily get a second season out of them.

Great gloves, great price. Pick some up now.

Remind me of older motocross style glove

Used them all season in the hottest weather for DH and xc. They keep your hands nice and cool. Had a couple of nasty crashes but they have held up well. Better for xc or all mountain because they don't have a lot of padding. overall good gloves.

These are very good thin-palm XC gloves. They breath well, they're grippy, and they still protect your hand in a crash. I bought three or four pair on sale for $15 and they're well worth that. Full price they're a little overpriced though.

I bought the white because though white MTB gloves are silly, I have colored ESI grips and I didn't want my gloves to stain the grips. So far so good, my pink and red grips have no trace on them. The white actually stays reasonably white too with semi-regular washing.

They last a good long time, probably a full season of riding or race. The velcro strap separated for me (velcro came off the rubber); I was disappointed to learn that it's not stitched at all, just glued. Two minutes with a hot glue gun totally fixed it though.

My biggest gripe is no soft patch on the thumb for nose wiping.

They fit the same as all the other Fox gloves I have; I wear XL in fox and these are true to that size. It's L for a lot of other brands though, so you might want to size up a little bit.

They started out too tight but have stretched into the perfect fit. The palm material is comfortable and grippy. If you need to cool your hands spread your fingers and the mesh sides allow air flow.

First off then run small, order a size up. Second they just did not have enough padding for XC/FreeRides. Ordered the Fox Racing Reflex Gel Gloves and been super happy with them. I keep these around as backups or for guest.

Overall these gloves are pretty good.
I ordered a large and they are a little snug for a large, but will work.
