Ideal trail conditions.
In an ideal world, we wouldn't have to think about our seatpost height, and it would automatically adjust based on upcoming terrain. While we're still looking for that trail predicting technology to hit the market, you can keep your trail flow rolling with the FOX Racing Shox Transfer Factory Series Dropper Seatpost - Internal Routing. A smooth, eye-catching Kashima coated upper post and cable-actuated hydraulic internals pair for friction-free modulation with and an easy to engage action that deftly manges transitions across all manner of trail conditions.
The Transfer's internal cable routing keeps everything tucked neatly away in the frame for clean aesthetics, while a Spool Valve design utilizes beefy hydraulics for easy modulation so the post always ends up exactly where you need it. As an added bonus, a tool-free cable disconnect feature makes for easy installation and maintenance.
FOX Racing Shox offers two separately sold lever options for its Transfer dropper posts. The left side below bar mount sits similarly to a standard shift lever, adding clean symmetry to one-by systems. The left/right on bar mount sits how we most commonly think of dropper post levers, and provides clean integration with any shift system.

- Q & A
I bout this fox Seat dropper for my giant and it has made my riding experience 100 times more efficient and my rides are more enjoyable. no I can stay with my friends and never have to fiddle with the seat no matter what kind if riding I do!!
Flawless season 1
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have always loved using a dropper, but had experienced various issues with them on long and short rides that left me wanting to the point where I stopped using them. This one has been great, no issues thus far. Going into season 2. Looks very cool on the bike with the matching Kashima coated fork.
I could not be happier with my choice to purchase the Fox Transfer internal routed 150mm drop post. It works perfectly.
However after a handlebar to tree strike and subsequent fall I noticed that the clamp which holds the lever to the handlebar had broken. Once I saw that it had broken I noticed that the clamp seems to be very 'lightly' built. I know it probably saves a couple of grams but make it able to resist at least a few strikes. i've had the post for about two months and now I will have to buy a new lever as 'warranty will not cover impact or over torque'.
Very happy with the post itself. Might look at another brand when buying the new lever.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Drop it like its hot. Fox has really done it this time. Very smooth action, slick styling, and super easy to install. Drops smoothly and effortlessly and returns quick. There is a little side to side play but this is common with all dropper post
Are there any performance and functional differences between the kashima and standard black model?
The only difference is the Kashima coating (I asked a Fox employee at Interbike)
