TALAS is especially useful on sustained climbs, lowering the fork's overall height to eliminate the wandering sensation experienced by longer travel forks on steep uphills. And when you reach the top and it's time to bomb downhill, switch it to fully open and reap the benefits of the fork's 140 millimeters of plush travel.

Although 32-millimeter stanchions aren't as beefy as their 34 or 36-millimeter counterparts, they reduce weight, improving overall efficiency on your trail bike. FOX's buttery-smooth Kashima coating improves small-bump compliance and overall durability. And like FOX's previous generation Factory Series Fork, the 2015 32 TALAS 27.5 140 CTD Fork employs a FIT damper for smooth, ultra-reliable performance. The damper's fluid is sealed within an air-tight bladder, eliminating contamination for reliably smooth performance, even on long, dusty downhill sections.

CTD compression dampening increases versatility, catering to the terrain you're specifically riding. You'll find it substantially stiffens things up in Climb mode, allowing for firm climbing capabilities. The Trail Mode is a great choice for riding a wide variety of terrain, sitting smack-dab between the firmest and most plush settings. Additionally, FOX employs a Descend mode, allowing you to soak up big hits and steep trails with a plusher feel.
