Unlock your potential.
Few things are tenser than the moment you're mach-ing down a technical trail and realize you're aiming for a rock garden ... with the fork locked out. It's too late to reach down to the crown -- your only option is to clench the bars and go for a bucking bronco ride. This scenario, however, becomes irrelevant when you've equipped the front of your rig with a Fox Racing Shox 32 Float Remote FIT with Kashima fork.
With control at your fingertips, you can unlock the fork without risking a one-handed hail mary. The 32 Float 100's ergonomic switch uses a lever to move the fork to the locked position, and a button to release it. This ensures that unlocking the fork is easier to do then locking it out. And it prevents the dreaded scenario described above. The cable-activated switch is low profile for maximum compatibility and it's designed to be used on the right side of the bar.
The damper that the remote controls is Fox's FIT unit. This damper employs a bladder to keep air and oil from mixing and negatively affecting performance. Fluid aeration results in reduced damping, which will cause the fork to lose its ability to control movement.
The FIT damper, unlike open bath dampers, is also inverted. This means the fork's unsprung weight is lower for less inertia to control, resulting in a more sensitive, plusher fork. The fork uses an air spring that's simple to adjust via the top-cap-mounted Schrader valve. Under the right leg there's an indexed rebound adjustment knob.
To complement the 32 Float 100's stiff magnesium lowers is a tapered head tube. This gives the fork excellent steering precision. The Fox Racing Shox 32 Float 100 Remote FIT with Kashima comes in White with Custom logos or Black with grey logos.
