Better than skin.

The Fox Reflex Gel Glove wants you to be comfortable. That's its job. Strategically placed mesh panels promote air flow over your hand to keep you cool and comfortable, and padded fingers and knuckles take some of the bite out of a good tree-smack.

  • Airmesh fabric on top of hand reduces weight and promotes airflow
  • Airprene kunckle and finger padding for added protection
  • Durable Ax Suede Fit palm offers great grip feel
  • Silicone finger grippers keep you from slipping off the brake levers in a panic
  • Low-profile wrist closure won't interfere with jersey sleeves

Here's what others have to say...

Nice gloves for the price

Gloves fit well and breath well, the pading in the palm is minimal but still a good value.

Fox Racing Reflex Gel Gloves

Nice gloves, good price, light weight and breathable. Time will tell how they hold up. Pads are decent not too large.

Good but not great

The glove is super comfortable for XC/AM riding, and if they were a bit more durable they would be five stars, after only a couple weeks of extended riding they have developed small tears on the top of the hand, not due to wrecks and abrasions, just due to craftsmanship, other fox gloves have been way more durable. The comfort definitely does not make up for it lack of quality but overall I do like wearing them...

Gets the job done

Unfortunately my hands are between the medium and the small... The fingers fit great in the small, but the palm, and the especially the placement of the gel padding, was better in the medium. I went with the small figuring a nice snug fit was better than a loose glove with excess material in the fingers. I just wish the gel was more helpful.

Great "feel" MTB gloves.

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Tested these gloves when it got warm out, they fit snug and tight. The gel is in the right places so as not to interfere with keeping a good grip and getting the feel of the bike while riding hard. Good colors, good look, well worth the amount paid (under $25). I'll probably buy a second pair with different colors to boot.

Great Road Gloves

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After a nice crash really marred my hand a few years back despite wearing gloves, I don't wear half-finger gloves anymore, I only wear full-finger with decent protection even on road.

That said, these are perfect for it! They breath well and are grippy, but they've still got the back of my hand covered (and I've been in a couple crashes and tested it; much better than the thin spandex of road gloves).

What I like about these better than my other MTBing gloves is the gel palm; it's much more comfortable for road riding than the minimal XC gloves I use for MTBing. The gel is placed nicely and softens up riding on both the hoods and in the drops.

Unfortunately Fox has started going with glue for all their rubber attachment which prevents this from getting 5 stars, as it inevitably starts coming off. A couple minutes with a hot glue gun fixes it when it does, but it's an annoyance that wasn't there back when they stitched it.

They last a long time, I've had one pair go for nearly a year of almost-daily commuting (35 miles) and the detailing peeling up was the only issue. Palms are still bomber.

I wear XL in Fox and these fit. I wear L in most other brands though so you might want to size down.

Good glove for the long haul

Good fit. Just the right amount of padding in the right places.

Just What The Dr Ordered

After getting some nice size holes in my old gloves I figured it was time for a new pair. I ordered a cheaper pair of fox gloves, but after one ride went back to my old torn gloves. Then I took a pretty nice spill in a rock garden and this time got a hole on the palm. After searching I found these gloves. I was a little hesitant at first because of the last fox gloves I ordered, but after a few rides I was really pleased with these gloves. They are perfect for long rides and I luv resting the gel palms against my handle bars as I climb. If these gloves wear out/down I will order them again.
