For the Descent.
Every wonder what's up with the super loose, flowy jerseys those downhill guys and gals are rocking on their way down? It's not all fashion and flare. Because gravity riding requires constant — and often extreme — repositioning of the body all over the bike to maintain balance over treacherous obstacles and angles, apparel needs to accommodate all of this movement without any restriction or concentration-robbing discomfort. Fox's Short-Sleeve Livewire Descent Jersey is a fine example of this logic at work, being a jersey that utilizes cutting-edge, XC-light materials — like the standard Livewire Jersey — but in a looser and more open cut, so riders can move about as they need to.
The Livewire Descent Jersey is constructed from a moisture-wicking polyester fabric with mesh ventilation panels, intended to keep the core dry and cool like a dedicated race top. An anatomically correct collar adds comfort to even the hottest days, and Fox also gave the Livewire Descent a drop tail to cover you while you're in the riding position. Of course, when it's time to dump heat on the climb, the full-length front zipper is there to be opened. An optics wipe at the hem is convenient to keep goggles and glasses clean, and the headphone jack lets you keep the tunes pumping.
The Fox Short-Sleeve Livewire Descent Jersey comes in four sizes, from Small through X-Large, and is available in the colors Blue, Red, and Acid Green.
