Ample venting on the thighs keeps you cool on hot rides and a touch of stretchy spandex gives these shorts a flexible feel. When you absolutely HAVE to ride to some tunes, internal cord routing keeps your headphone cord from becoming a tangled affair. Unique, side-zip waist closure and hook-and-loop tabs allow for maximum comfort from the parking lot to the peak.

Great if your shaped like a teenage boy, but not for me. Not sure how the satin-like material will hold up to the terrain either.
My Lady loves them.

Bought these for my wife. Buying bike gear online for her is a real pain. Hit a home run with these.

i have the fox diva in two colors (lime green and blue) and they are my favorite shorts for mountain biking! they are very comfortable and lightweight. i like that the chamois is removable so that i dont have to wear it downhilling. very happy wih them! i am 5'7" and 145 with some biggin hips and i purchased a large. luckily i was able to get both pairs on sale, the original price is a bit steep..
Great Shorts!

These shorts are a really nice cut. The side zips = no button digging in at the front! I am 5'4, 125lbs and I ordered a small but had to exchange them for a medium.
Pretty groovy

OK, I really like these. Very comfy. I even bought another pair. Good pockets and vents in the front, but what's up with the side zippers on each side??? Make sure you are really unzipping the pockets, and not the shorts! They're side by side.
Like the shorts

The shorts are pretty cute and they fit well. The only complaint is that the pad is pretty stiff. It feels like I am wearing a diaper. I am hoping that they will break in soon and that wont be a problem anymore. I like all of the pockets too.
Very roomy in the legs

These seem like very nice, quality shorts, but be aware that the legs are quite wide. That is, they're as wide at the top as at the bottom rather than tapered. My legs are on the leaner side, so that when I put the shorts on, they bell out quite a bit at the bottom rather than hanging straight. Definitely not my style. I had much better luck with the North Face Zany MTB short. Looks like they're being discontinued, so if you're looking for a narrower leg, get them!
Also, the shorts in the photo that someone uploaded aren't the Fox Diva's.
Great short

These are well made shorts that have a pretty good design. The only reason I gave them four out of five stars, is that I am worried that the side zippers may come undone (haven't tested them enough yet). My legs are on the larger side, definately not skinny, and I have no problem with these shorts. Also, I ordered a similar pair in a larger size due to some of the reviews and that was a mistake. They are true to size.
For skinny legs

These shorts are made for girls that have very skinny legs. If you are a tiny girl these shorts are for you, got them on but when I sit down the fit my legs like a glove.
Really wide

I have another color and they are fine, but the legs on the Avocado are REALLY wide.

These are great shorts overall - The green color is happy. The fit is great and they are super comfortable. I like the that the chamois is removable. The only down side to these shorts is that since the zippers are on the 2 sides, i find they unzip themselves frequently. I considered if i should have gotten a smaller size to reduce this, but i don't know if that would have worked.
Amazing shorts

I bought size medium at first but then returned them for large. They run a bit small and I like slightly baggier shorts. They are an amazing fit and great material. Best shorts I ever bought. I will definitely buy these shorts again next season.
Best Mtn. Biking Shorts

These shorts kick ass - as they should for their hefty price tag! Best women's mtn bike shorts I've ever purchased.
I got them in the green, I'm 5'6" 130 and purchased size med. They fit great, all around. Get 'em, you can't go wrong. Don't mess around buying the cheapies....as you get what you pay for.
GREAT shorts, worth the $$

I ordered these shorts about a month ago and have worn them three times while biking some single-track trails in Missoula, MT, and I can't say enough good things about them. Compared to other shorts I have tried (and seen), they are both well-fitting and good-looking. The waist sits nice and low in the front, but the back is high enough that you don't have to worry about "plumber's butt", and the tabs on either side - so that you can tweek the waist sizing if need be - work really well. I also really like the length (they hit me just above the knee), and the fact that you can remove the internal padding and wear the shorts out and about; I have the graphite color, and they are cute enough that I actually would! Finally, I would point out that I think this is a great pair of shorts for girls (like me) who have larger thighs. I often have a hard time finding shorts that aren't tight around the thigh, but these fit just fine. As to sizing - I am 5'6, approx. 145 lbs, and I wear the size L. Normally, I wear size 8 - 10 in pants. Hope this helps!

The size chart indicates that the shorts run small. According to the chart a US woman's size 10 would be an XL, right?

Not sure what you're comparing it to but for the most accurate translation, use juniors sizing.

Charcoal color looks black online, but is really medium to dark gray. I ordered the large and they were really snug, but I based on the size chart an XL would've been better (for me) if they offered that size. =o) I loved the look, detailing and fit (higher waist in back, length and fabric). Some of nicest shorts I have seen in my extensive search for decent mtb shorts.
