Technology for your ride.
Fox Racing's Attack Ultra Shorts pack innovative features like chafe-reducing, fully welded seams to make this the most advanced shorts that the folks at Fox sell. The high-tech, four-way stretch fabric won't bind or limit motion, and the high level of breathability means that moisture has plenty of opportunity to move away from your skin before it becomes annoying.
Breathable Ultra Q4 construction ensures cool, dry comfort, even on all-day epics, and four-way stretch eliminates binding for an unlimited range of motion. The removable liner makes the Attack Ultra Shorts as comfortable as spandex tights, but with the benefit of protection from the outer shorts. The other benefit of the removable liner is that you can use it with your other shorts or with softshell baggie pants for winter riding.
For the Attack Ultra, Fox uses its most advanced chamois—the Evo Race. This is a multi-density, ergonomically designed chamois. It's designed to add cushioning to absorb shock and vibration, as well as manage moisture efficiently.
Fox Racing Attack Ultra Shorts have a 23-inch outseam and come in Black or Blue and are available in even sizes 30 through 38.

THE best AM short out there
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
At first glance these thin stretchy shorts feel fragile and dainty, but they are really durable. The stretchy fabric and thigh vents are awesome...I didn't know what a real short was until I put these babies between my legs and went out for some all day churnin'-n-burnin'. I have used these now for 2 months or so on 25 rides or so. NO signs of wear. NO chaffing. No tears after a few respectable falls. I bought two...and I will definitely buy these again if they ever wear out.
Fits over pads easily
Didn't know what I was missing...
this material is incredible, and it better be for the price point. it feels incredibly light and dries in minutes. the vents are great too. i'm not sure if I wish it had normal pockets, as this probably helps them breathe better and dry quicker, but pockets are nice while you're getting things ready for your ride. the legs end just above the knee while pedaling, and covers the knee cap when standing. also, no issues wearing these with knee pads.
the only reason this gets four stars is the chamois. it feels great, but the care directions say you can let it sit with sweat or it will harm the fabric. I don't know how much harm that can be, but I try to get 2-4 rides out of my chamois before I wash them.
