The Men's Attack Short from Fox Racing helps you assault the trail or the pavement with stretchy, wicking comfort underneath and burly shell fabric outside. The wicking mesh inner short has Fox's dual-density Ultra Chamois for long days in the saddle and detaches for easy washing. Meanwhile, the stretch nylon exterior features welded pockets (plus an ID/pass pocket), mesh vents, and a boardshort-style drawstring waist to keep the Attack Shorts in place when you're bombing down at hyperspeed. A 15-inch inseam falls nicely in between XC dork shorts and bulky, are-you-wearing-pants-or-shorts DH gear.
Bottom Line: Killer looks, killer comfort, killer durability.

These shorts are great for trail riding, up or down. I've put these through a few hundred miles of Utah singletrack and couldn't ask for a better short. Comfortable, breathable, and extremely durable

I think I have four pairs of these shorts. Yes, I'm a bike clothing whore.
Found them to be incredible comfortable on the bike, very cool and the pad is comfortable. Off the bike they feel like a loaded diaper, which isn't good, but hey, just get on the bike and ride!
I'm concerned about the quality, on two of my pairs, the little mesh fox head thing is starting to de-laminate, and the welded pockets are unwelding.
If you live in a hot place, they are great shorts. With the removable liner, you can wear one outer pair with different liners, great for a bike trip.

Overall the padding is great for whatever you do, ample coverage. And the mesh isn't the most stylish but its quiet effective.

Normally I like Fox MTB apparel, but these shorts are out there. With the best intentions,Fox incorporated a thick mesh material into the lower leg portions of the short. The problems is when I put the shorts on and look down I felt like I was dressed for the local Goth club. Had fox not incorporated the mesh into these shorts I would have kept them in a heartbeat.

I understand that fox is not for XC riders. They stayed true to their roots with this one. If you can't pull off "murdered out black" shorts. Don't rock'em.
