Slimmer than most snowboard pants

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought this pant expecting it to be the baggy skateboard style that I've come to love from Foursquare but this pant doesn't live up to the brand.

The pants are much slimmer than previous Foursquare and Special Blend pants which is fine if that's the look you're going for and don't mind a little resistance dragging across your knees when you squat down - but that doesn't work for me.

The Velcro waist cinch is also odd in that it only pulls material together in the back which, consequently, only tightens that part of the pant leaving the rest too large.

Products like this are why Burton decided to end Foursquare after they purchased it.

Good pants just not for me

I wore them a few times and as long as I didn't have anything in my pockets they were great! I'm about 5'6 and 170 lbs with big legs so mediums were tight in my thighs like alot of pants, great waterproofing and breathability, inner thigh vents are handy as well. love the pants just sucks my legs are too big

    Great rain / snow pants

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times

Only used a few times so far, but not too hot...very waterproof. Handy pockets and extra built in belt for great fit. I'm 5'10" 180lbs and the Large fits me just fine...curios though if the Medium would've been better.

    Comfortable and breathable

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have the 2011 edition, but I'm pretty sure the differences are not that big. These pants are on the baggier side, but they still feel secure. Nice freedom of movement and comfort.. One thing to note is that it has belt loops, so i would say its better to buy your actual size. Its baggy as it is so those looking to get 1 or 2 sizes up, get your own size
