If you need a fresh look this winter that doesn’t put a huge hole in your wallet, try the breathable Foursquare Women’s Melissa Insulated Jacket. The 60-gram insulation keeps you warm on cloudy days, and you can unzip the mesh-lined underarms vents if you start to overheat when you hike the park and pipe or get crammed into the gondola. Taped critical seams and 5K-rated water-resistant fabric help protect you from light falling snow, and the Melissa provides plenty of pockets for you to store your extra goggles, tunes, and flask for your end-of the-day run.

Bottom Line: Nothing like hiding from patrol to catch the killer mountain sunset.

LOVE IT!!!!

Great fit, FYI... I am a tiny girl with a bust measurement of a medium. I took a risk and got an extra small and it fits great! Material is soft and comfy... color is bright and fun... I got the blue jacket. I rode in some pretty windy conditions and stayed warm and cozy. I would totally recommend it!

Perfectly Insulated Jacket!

By:
November 4, 2010

This jacket has a super cute fit with a slight taper in the waist (really in the waist, not in the rib area). The insulation keeps you really warm without overheating you on the more sunny days. I always rock the hood up as it has a low profile look and fits well over a helmet. My favorite part of this jacket is the full time powder skirt and adjustable cuff closures to keep the snow out on the big pow days! LOVE IT!

I am confused by this size chart.... the XS chest measurement

I am confused by this size chart.... the XS chest measurement is like 40 something?? I am probably a size 6 in womens clothing... about 5'5" and 130lbs but pretty small framed up top. 34B ...I'm wondering if I should go with a small or a medium?

I'm not sure what size a 34B is and the size chart listed is not good at all, go by these sizes, Chest size - XS: 30"–31" Small:32"–33" and Medium:34"–35". This jacket is awesome, you will be really happy with the fit and feel.

The Melissa jacket is an awesome low price insulated jacket. It has 60gms insulation for you warmth and protection against the elements, which is accompanied by 5K waterproofing and 5g breathability. The Melissa also has a full time hood and an attached powder skirt. No more worrying about a broken powder skirt zipper.

How true to size is this? I know that men's snowboard jackets

How true to size is this? I know that men's snowboard jackets tend to run on the big side. Is this true for women's as well?

No, if you normally wear a medium jacket then you would buy a medium jacket. They fit pretty true.

O.K. Jacket - But room for improvement

By:
March 8, 2011

This Foursquare Jacket is O.K. It is sturdy and comes at a good price. The shell has a slight herringbone structure. However, there is still room for improvement:
The jacket feels quite heavy and adds weight. I guess the rather stiff shell is good for protection, but it gave me a rather hemmed in feeling. Also, the front zipper only slides one way (up). It can not be opened from the bottom. The jacket runs a bit small. I am a size M, but with this jacket I had to go up one size to L, because it was cut narrow around arms and shoulders. Last, the color I picked, cider, is a tricky orangey red, which does not compliment all skin types. The pros: Lots of pockets, nice hood. Holds up well in wet weather and rain. The jacket is made in China.

Fun!

I order this for my daughter; she loves it. It's a great color; she got the green. It's not super bright but it's not quite as dull as it looks in the photo. It has tons of pockets which she loves for stashing all her stuff. She's worn it skiing and it kept her toasty warm. She likes that it's not bulky at all. It runs pretty true to size. I would definitely recommend this coat.

Awesome Jacket!!!

I was hesitant to buy this jacket at first look. The pockets on the front gave me the impression that it would give an extra bulky look. I was wrong, the pockets don't look bulky at all and I love how many there are ( gotta carry the essentials on you). The color is true to the picture and the textured lines (for design) in the jacket give it that fashionable kick. I love the skirt and adjustable cuffs (keep out the snow on those pow days or hard eats). The media pocket is a nice touch on this jacket as well, and ipod is easy to use through the plastic window. I really like the yo-yo pass holder instead of a clear plastic pocket on other jackets. You don't have to unzip to show your pass. This is a lightweight jacket with plenty of warmth for a California girl living in the fresh mountains of Colorado. It is true to size, I am a medium and the medium fits perfect. I do have wider hips and the jacket fits around just fine (with room to spare). Best Christmas gift to myself! Perfect girls jacket without a super girly feel. It is a flattering jacket, have had many compliments.

Great layering jacket - nice cut

By:
November 15, 2010

This is a great lighter-weight jacket. Since it's not heavily insulated it's not too bulky and the fitted waist makes for a great shape. The fabric is fairly soft for a winter jacket and the jackets has lots of pockets for storage. I got the green and the color is true to the picture.
