The Forum Aura is a great entry level binding. Forum has tweaked the construction of this binding in a way to remove the heelcup. This significantly reduces the overall weight of the binding but still keeps up durability. It is polycarbonate baseplate that is soft and flexible. The ankle strap is an EVA pre-curved strap that better fits your boots. The toe strap is a convertible strap that can be worn as a toestrap or a toecap. If you are just starting out, this binding is perfect for you.

The Forum Aura is a great entry level binding. Soft, light, and cheap in price. It comes with a convertible toe strap that can be worn over the toes or around the edge like a toe cap. The Bubbler ankle strap is an EVA pre wrapped strap that fits your boots nicely. Through the construction of the binding, Forum has eliminated the heelcup. This significantly reduces weight but keeps the same great durability. The Aura is worth the money for sure, and comes in two great colors.
